God in the person of Jesus Christ calls each of us to accept his friendship. We come to this knowledge and love of God through the gift of the Holy Spirit, who brings us to faith in Christ, to discipleship as a member of the Church, and a growing conversion of heart.

As part of this fundamental call to holiness, all share by virtue of their baptism and confirmation in the mission of Jesus Christ to proclaim the kingdom of God. For this collaborative mission, the Spirit gives different gifts to different individuals, who have specific vocations.

To be a Dominican friar is to be called to a life dedicated to preaching the Gospel. We want others to enjoy the fullness of life which is offered to them in Christ.
