Question Box THIS SUNDAY. Do you have questions about the Catholic Faith and the Church? Today at 10am after the Latin Mass we’ll discuss and answer the questions you’ve left in the question box.
This Thursday, we celebrate the Solemnity of Sts Peter and Paul which is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be celebrated at Blackfriars at the usual time of 7.30am, but there will also be a Dominican Rite Mass in the evening at 7.30pm.
We have a new Safeguarding Representative, Emanuela Zengeni. Blackfriars Cambridge is committed to safeguarding all children and adults. This commitment directly relates to the fact that we are all made in the image of God and the Church’s common belief in the unique dignity and worth of every human life. We start from the principle that each person has a right to expect the highest level of protection, care, encouragement and respect. We are committed to the Catholic Church’s One Church Approach to safeguarding and to ensuring we respond to victims and survivors of abuse promptly and compassionately. If you have any safeguarding concerns, either past or present, we encourage you to speak to our new Safeguarding Representative, Emanuela Zengeni either in person or by phone (07407 712 499) or email (safeguardingrepresentative.cambridgeATenglish.op.org).
Finally, the book sale raised £200 for the rose garden. Thank you for your generosity, we hope you’re enjoying your books! Our wonderful volunteers Helen, Peter and Zlata have been busy weeding and planting it with new roses for everyone to enjoy after Sunday Mass!
