Our congratulations to Sr Mary Magdalene! The noviciate went north on Saturday to the Dominican Sisters’ convent at Stone, for the clothing of Gabriella Debreczeni, the former Cambridge postulant, who was clothed in the religious habit as Sr Mary Magdalene Debreczeni OP. The ceremony at Vespers, presided over by Sr Pauline Burling OP as Prioress General, capped a day of reflection on the preacher’s vocation that had begun with an exploration of the Angelus led by Fr Timothy Calvert OP, who emphasised the personal conversion required of the preacher, and a short talk from Br Oliver Keenan OP on, among other things, the need for humility.
