Blackfriars welcomed last night Prof. Eduardo Echeverria from Sacred Heart School of Theology, Detroit, to speak on ‘The Theological Mind of Pope Francis’. Prof. Echeverria, recent author of Pope Francis: The Legacy of Vatican II, stressed the formative and central place in the Holy Father’s thinking of doctrinal development as understood by the fifth-century Church Father Vincent of Lerins.
