Fr Benedict returned recently from acting as chaplain at the annual retreat for the Association of Blind Catholics (ABC). As has been the case for several years now, this took place in the Emmaus Centre in West Wickham in Kent. A prayerful atmosphere, peaceful countryside, and excellent weather all contributed to what was a very successful few days spent in reflection on “The Humours of the Scriptures”. There was much good company, and a chance to catch up with old friends as well as make new ones.
